2013 Closes on a High Note with More Growth Expected for 2014

December closed 2013 with renewed momentum and promise for both business and leisure travel. Global corporate bookings through the global distribution systems (GDSs) grew +7.4% over prior year in December with rates steadily outpacing 2012 by +1.7%. The leisure segment realized healthy demand through the holiday season with bookings eclipsing prior year by +4.3% in December at rates that were +4.8% higher.
